Hi, I'm sundropsol
I'm a crochet artist who believes handmade things should make you smile. My hook has made giant strawberry pillows, cake hats topped with frogs and mushrooms and daisy granny square blankets for slow Sunday picnics.
I learned the long way round, one pulled-out row at a time. Along the way I discovered that the gap between "I can't do this" and "I made this!" is almost always a clear explanation and a little patience.
In my course I'll sit right beside you, with the camera at hook level, and show you every stitch, join and shaping trick I use. Then I'll teach you how to turn your own ideas into patterns other makers can follow.

Beginner's Guide to Crochet Design
Learn to crochet from your very first slip knot with more confidence, patience and a lot more fun. Across 80+ bite-sized video lessons and 9 cosy modules, I’ll guide you through every stitch, join and shaping trick, from wobbly first rows to three real makes: a cosy granny square blanket, a granny square bag and a full fall sweater.
You’ll stitch alongside me with the camera right at hook level, and by the last module you’ll be writing a pattern of your very own.
This is a space to slow down, enjoy the rhythm of your hook, trust your own ideas and find a way of making that feels truly yours.
